Privacy and Security Policy
AFRE has a firm commitment to Internet privacy. You can visit most portions of www.afre.org without telling us who you are and without revealing any personal information. The only information we collect from a normal website visit is the name of your Internet service provider, the browser and type of machine you are using, the website that referred you to us, the pages you requested and the date and time you requested them. We use this information to generate statistics and measure site activity to improve the usefulness of the site to our visitors. You are anonymous on this site until you provide us with information to register for events or ask to join our mailing list.
AFRE pledges to keep personal information that you provide to us secure and private. AFRE may collect email addresses and other personally identifiable data about visitors when such data is voluntarily submitted to afre.org. For example, our site uses registration forms for visitors to register for our many events. Contact information from a registration form is added to our registrar contact database. When paying registration fees with a credit card, you are taken to a secure webpage where we collect and transmit the sensitive visitor information using industry accepted data collection and encryption methodologies. We do not permanently store credit card information.
AFRE does not sell or otherwise disclose user information outside the organization. We will not disclose any personal information to any third party, including vendors or affiliates.
