AFRE Helps Teachers Keep Pace as Students Move Online
In the rapidly expanding world of online education, the rapport between teacher and student still exists, but the online dynamic presents new challenges for the teacher. AFRE workshops are a great place for online and classroom teachers to get new ideas and develop skills that help students understand vital concepts.
Workshop Participants Give AFRE High Marks
We recently commissioned an independent, comprehensive evaluation study to determine AFRE's effectiveness. In every category, respondents rated AFRE's program content, design and facilitators as "excellent" or "very good."
Looking Back
During spring 2006, AFRE presented three very popular and successful workshops which provided hands-on learning experiences using computer technology as well as low-tech games to make teachers' lessons and lectures more interesting and exciting.
Reaching Out
One of the things that makes AFRE events so unique is that they provide teachers with the chance to learn first hand through exciting, real-world experiences. This spring was no exception, thanks to several companies and organizations that generously gave of their time and talents to present collaborative events.
Best Practices Workshops Target Serious School Improvement
In spring 2006, AFRE delivered more than 20 Best Practices Series workshops. Spring workshop topics addressed specific school improvement issues identified by the Arizona Department of Education's research and AFRE's experience working with schools statewide.
