Outcomes and Indicators
By participating in this workshop, you will:
- Explore emerging technologies by observing cutting-edge
processes in copper mining that are leading the world into the
future.
- Understand that Arizona's copper mining industry impacts
the world economy by comparing and contrasting Arizona and world
economic data.
- Discuss career possibilities for students by
interviewing professionals in the workplace.
- Identify geological and mining processes and features by
engaging in observations and discussion en route to and from
Safford.
